Who is already doing this work, and how do we join them?
What scholars do
Representation is instruction. Scholars are matched with mentors from Bronx hospitals, universities, engineering firms and Harding Media for recurring lab visits, career sessions and one-on-one guidance — so a science career stops being abstract and starts being a person they know.
Goals for the year
- Match every scholar in the strand with a mentor for the full school year.
- Host six mentor-led sessions and two site visits annually.
- Raise the share of scholars who can name a science career pathway they want.
